An ideal first date would be a relatively early dinner at a nice bistro or out of the way restaurant that everyone has been raving about, good food, good drinks, good company, followed by checking out some boutiques or perhaps catching a movie. If it's daytime going on a picnic at a state park like Harriman or checking out one of many festivals in the Hudson valley meaning more shopping! Haha!
